Marine Sustainability Pledge

Marine industries have made great strides in protecting and enhancing marine ecosystems through programs like Clean Marinas, Fish Friendly Marinas, and the Elimination of Single Use Plastics Pledge. These initiatives promote environmental responsibility, starting with businesses and extending to marine users.

As stewards of the world’s oceans and coasts, our industry must continue to lead. It is time to move into a world of deeper commitment to the environment and sustainability and take bold steps toward protecting the environment by eliminating single-use plastics and addressing a broader array of challenges. To address this, the MIA launched the Marine Sustainability Pledge (MSP), which provides marine businesses with a framework to commit to sustainability and drive progress in environmental practices.
